About the WWHEL Board

WWHEL is governed by a Board of Directors made up of women leaders from all sectors of higher education. The board chooses the president and carries on the work of the association. The president serves a two year term, followed by a year as past president.

Each member of the Board of Directors serves a three year term and may serve up to two consecutive terms. Some of the duties of the board members include:

Chairing and serving on committees for the WWHEL annual fall conference; chairing and serving on committees for the WWHEL spring workshops; chairing and serving on committees to update the WWHEL web site, and securing institutional partners who assist WWHEL financially enabling WWHEL to carry out its objectives.
