Biography
Theresa Barry, Ph.D. is currently the
Dean of Student Affairs at Carroll University in Waukesha
Wisconsin serving since 2009.
Theresa is a member of the President’s Executive
Cabinet and oversees all functions of student services at
Carroll University Prior to this position, Theresa served as
the Vice President of Student Services at Milwaukee Area
Technical College (MATC) the largest of the two-year
technical colleges in the Midwest with approximately 45,000
students on four campuses.
She has provided leadership and supervision in the
guidance, career and counseling areas, overseen student life
activities,
academic support services, special needs and the Health
Resource Center.
Theresa has served in various student services positions at
MATC and Waukesha County Technical College working her way
into increasing positions of responsibility.
In addition, she is an adjunct faculty member at
Concordia University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She has her Ph.D. in Educational Policy and
Leadership from Marquette University, M.S. in Rehabilitation
and Counseling Psychology from UW-Madison, and her B.S.
degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in Education also from
UW-Madison.
