Biography

In the past decade, she has served as Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Acting Provost and Vice President for Academic Affair at Mercy College in New York, and Vice President for Planning and Institutional Assessment at Mercy College. Passaro is a cultural anthropologist educated at Duke University. She has conducted fieldwork in Latin America, Africa, Europe and the United States, and has presented many academic lectures since 1986 on topics related to culture, gender and ethnicity as well as on the assessment and improvement of higher education.
