Diane Hoadley
Board Member
Diane Hoadley is the Dean of the College of Business
at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Diane comes to Eau Claire after serving eight years as Dean of
the Lumpkin College of Business and Applied Sciences at Eastern
Illinois University. Prior
to that, she spent twenty years at the University of South Dakota as a
faculty member and administrator. Diane’s
primary teaching area is business law with a focus on intellectual
property.
Diane currently serves as a reviewer and mentor for
schools seeking to reaffirm or acquire AACSB International
accreditation (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
She served as Chair of the Women Administrators in Management
Education (WAME) group, an AACSB International affinity group and as a
member of the WAME Steering Committee.
In addition, she is a member of the Board of Directors of
Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, Inc. – Northwest District.
Originally from Chicago, Diane earned a BA in
economics, MBA and JD from the University of Illinois-Urbana
Champaign. Diane and her
husband, Michael, reside in Eau Claire and are the parents of two
adult children.
