Biography
Cynthia Gray has been a member of the
Beloit College community since 2002. Initially hired as a
faculty member in the Psychology Department, she became the
Director of Institutional Research, Assessment, & Planning
in 2006 and has been a member of Senior Staff since 2009.
Through the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)
and the Association for Institutional Research (AIR),
Cynthia serves as a national trainer for the Integrated
Post-Secondary Educational Data System (IPEDS) and is a
member of AIR’s IPEDS Advisory Board. Prior to coming to
Beloit, Cynthia was a faculty member at Alverno College,
where she was also Coordinator of the Department of
Psychology. As a
recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate
Fellowship, she received both her Ph.D. (1995) and M.A.
(1992) from The
Johns Hopkins University. Her
B.A. is from Earlham College.
